A friend of mine wanted a greeting card for a student who owned a sailboat. That little project was part of a whole package of personalized greeting cards with kind ofwhimsical silly cats and dogs doing lots of human activities.  Very fun... And that inspired some more work in the same line.  Since so many people tend to think of their pets rather like human members of the family, the genre seems to work well!
